Colin Hanks To Star in Lucky

Hanks, who is the son of actor Tom Hanks, will be starring in the independent comedy.  According to Variety, Lucky will be directed by Gil Gates Jr. and written by Kent Sublette (Saturday Night Live).

The story follows a young serial killer whose life is turned upside down when he wins the lottery.  Filming is set to begin next week in Iowa.

Colin Hanks starred in My Mom’s New Boyfriend and The House Bunny.  He recently wrapped up filming for Barry Munday and High School, although release dates have not yet been announced.
