Lawyer Jon Eardley, who represented the 26-year-old singer, did not convince Judge Roger Boren in an Appeals Court in California to cancel the conservatorship which was given to Jamie Spears.
Eardley submitted a request to terminate Jamie Spears’ control over his daughter’s estate, which is evaluated at over $100 million. The lawyer argued that this was violating Britney’s civil rights.
The judge refused the demand, therefore, Jamie Spears will remain co-conservator until July 31 and is paid $2500 each week for this role.
