Courteney Cox Launches a Jewellery Line

Courteney Cox and her husband have created a jewellery collection to help raise funds for children who are suffering from a rare disease.

Cox and her husband, actor David Arquette, want to raise money for those who suffer from epidermolysis bullosa, a rare genetic disease that attacks the skin.  The star couple has friends with a child who has been diagnosed with the disease, reports the Orange County Review.

Arquette explained, "There is a beautiful child named Brendon, the son of one of our dear friends, Andrea Pett Joseph, who was born with epidermolysis bullosa or EB. We were not aware of the condition until it affected us personally but, of course, once we got to know this incredible child we wanted to do whatever we could to help."

The jewellery collection created by the stars is called the Satya EB Charity Collection, and features a range of affordable pieces adorned with butterflies.  Proceeds from sales will be used to conduct research on treatments and provide medical care for those suffering from EB.
