Kurt Cobain’s widow posted a message on her MySpace page where she denies rumours that she scrapped new material from her next album.
Courtney Love told her fans that her new songs will be handed over to Linda Perry, who works for Custard Records, in mid-July.
Love confirmed, "No ‘scrapping’ is going on, simply a few retakes, especially since all those recordings were leaked to the Net."
The rocker has been working on new material since 2006. Love’s last disc, America’s Sweetheart, was released in 2004.
According to Linda Perry, the album is worth the wait, as she said, "I think we made a beautiful, vibey, magical record."
