Cressida Bonas invited to Prince George’s christening

Prince Harry’s girlfriend has been invited to Prince George’s christening.

Cressida Bonas is set to be joining the royal family at the two-month-old prince’s ceremony on Wednesday (23.10.13) and the blonde beauty – who has been in a relationship with the flame haired prince for at least 18 months – is nervous about meeting the most famous family in the world.

A source told the Mail on Sunday newspaper: ”She’s very, very nervous, but Prince Harry is being very protective of her and wants her there.”

The couple – who met through Harry’s cousin Princess Eugenie – hit headlines in July after they were spotted at the ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ premiere and were later seen cosying up to one another when partying with friends at the Mayfair club Le Salon in London.

Baby George – who is third in line to the throne – will be having a low-key baptism and reports have emerged that key members of the Royal Family have not been invited, this includes Prince William’s aunts, Princess Anne and Sophie, Countess of Wessex, as well as George’s great-uncles, Prince Andrew and Prince Edward.

When probed as to whether Sophie and Anne, both busy with overseas engagements, would be attending, a palace source previously said: ”All I can say is that the christening will be an intimate affair.”
