An exhibition on Cuban art will take place at the Winnipeg Art Gallery from October 22, 2009 to January 10, 2010.
The exhibition entitled, Cuba Avant-Garde: Contemporary Cuban Art from the Farber Collection, includes forty renowned Cuban artists which demonstrate their impact on contemporary art in this country.
The exhibit includes, paintings, sculptures, drawings, prints, photographs and interactive activities. Some of the artists that will be on display, include José Bedia, Antonio Fernandez, Los Carpinteros, Carlos Garaicoa, Alexis Leyva and Elsa Mora.
