The Sex and the City actress, who has been dating Marinoni for four years, is ready to wed. However, the star will only take that step when gay marriages are recognised in the state of New York, reports FemaleFirst.
Nixon explained, "In an ideal world, we would like to marry in New York, when it becomes legalised. Hopefully, it won’t take 20 years."
Gay marriages were recently legalised in the state of California.
