The second brother of the family of actors, Daniel, 46, was stopped by police in Orange County while he was driving a GMC Yukon.
The actor, who is best known for his roles in Vampires, Paparazzi and Born on the Fourth of July, was driving the car of a friend, although he had not asked his friend for permission first.
The star was accused of having stolen the car, and was released on a $20,000 bail.
