Daniel Craig Becomes a Homosexual Emperor

Daniel Craig will join the cast of the film Memoirs of Hadrian.

According to Yahoo Movies, Daniel Craig will play the role of a Roman emperor of the second century in Memoirs of Hadrian.

Antonio Banderas, who was to originally play the character, bailed out two months before filming was set to begin.

Based on the novel by Marguerite Yourcenar, Memoirs of Hadrian has the recipe to be an epic, as it takes a look into the intimate homosexual relationship between the the emperor and his young lovers, one of whom will be played by Charlie Hunnam (Children of Men).

John Boorman (Excalibur) will direct the project, which has been his been long-term goal for the past ten years.

Filming is set to begin in Morocco in two months, while the historic drama is expected in theatres in 2010.

Meanwhile, Daniel Craig will sizzle the screens as James Bond in Quantum of Solace, to hit the big screen on November 7.
