Daniel Craig Doing Theatre

After playing James Bond, Daniel Craig is ready to go back to theatre productions.

As soon as the British actor finishes shooting Quantum of Solace, he would like to take up an interesting project in West End London.

Craig spoke about his plans to AOL Movies, "My ideal would be to choose some new writing. I have nothing against the classics, but new writing to me seems like it gives you a chance to try new stuff out, stuff no one’s ever seen before. I think that makes for a much more exciting theatre experience."

Craig started out at the age of 16 in the Shakespeare play Troilus and Cressida.  He then studied with Ewan McGregor and Joseph Fiennes at the reputable Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London.

In 1992, the 40-year-old celebrity started doing films and landed a role in The Power of One.
