Lanois was inspired by the initiative taken by the British group Radiohead who launched their album, In Rainbows, on the internet. Lanois will be launching his album on December 15 on the website: http://redfloorrecords.com/ It will be the first digital album for Red Floor Records.
In addition to this project, Lanois is also working on the Omni Series, which has songs never launched. In addition, he will be working with Brian Eno, who worked on the next album for U2.
