Daniel Radcliffe says Horns character is ’emotionally intense’

Daniel Radcliffe says the character he plays in ‘Horns’ is the most ”emotionally intense” he’s ever been given.

Daniel Radcliffe claims the character he plays in new movie ‘Horns’ is the most ”emotionally intense” of his career.

The 25-year-old actor, who found international fame playing the role of Harry Potter, performs the part of Ig – a man suspected of murdering his girlfriend – in the new film based on the novel by Joe Hill.

Speaking to Total Film, Radcliffe explained that although his character is a ”good person”, he is more overtly angry than those he’s played earlier in his career.

Radcliffe remarked: ”He’s a good person who has something inexplicable and terrifying happen to him.

”Ig’s anger is a lot more on display than any character I’ve played. The way he lashes out at the world is much more overt than I’ve done before.

”And I think, frankly, it’s one of the most emotionally intense characters I’ve ever played.”

Radcliffe’s new film will be released in the UK on October 31.

Meanwhile, Jon Hamm claimed recently that Radcliffe has handled fame with ”enviable” grace.

The ‘Mad Men’ actor, who appeared alongside the ‘Harry Potter’ star in ‘A Young Doctor’s Notebook’, explained: ”For the majority of his teens he was the most famous person in the world, in the eyes of 13 to 18 year olds, but he has handled it all with a grace that is enviable.”
