Radcliffe will be wrapping up filming Harry Potter next year, and is now thinking about his future.
According to IMDb.com, the project he is eyeballing in particular is The Journey is the Destination. The actor would be playing British photographer/journalist Dan Eldon. At the young age of 22, Eldon was beaten to death by an angry crowd in Somalia in 1993.
Although he mentioned other projects on the table, the young actor is most interested in the film based on Eldon’s true story.
The project, which is in the process of being financed, will be directed by Bronwen Hughes (Forces of Nature, Stander), who also co-wrote the screenplay with Jan Sardi.
Daniel Radcliffe is currently starring in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, the sixth instalment of the hit sorcerer franchise.
