Australian singer Dannii Minogue nixed rumours she plans to marry her boyfriend after the birth of their first child later this year. Orange News reports that she insists she is too frightened to walk down the aisle.
The 28-year old star has already been married to Nip/Tuck actor Julian McMahon but they divorced in 1995 after less than two years of marriage. She has also been engaged to race car driver Jacques Villeneuve.
Minogue now dates rugby player and new model Kris Smith. They are expecting their first child in July. However, the singer clearly states she is not getting married soon.
She says, "I wanted to have kids with someone I totally love, and that’s him. But marriage really scares me. I wouldn’t rule it out, but my divorce was really emotional for me. When something is wrapped up in these bad memories, you don’t want to go hurtling back."
Marriage rumours about Minogue began circulating last August when it was reported that Smith planned to ask for her hand.
