David Goyer Directing Vampire

New Regency got the rights to the movie Baltimore, or The Steadfast Tin Soldier and the Vampire, based on the comic strip.

The comic strip by Mike Mignola and Christopher Golden, Baltimore, or The Steadfast Tin Soldier and the Vampire, will be adapted to the big screen by director David Goyer.

Goyer who is an expert in action films–The Invisible, Blade: Trinity, has also written the screenpays for movies such as Dark Knight and the follow-up for Batman Begins.

The movie will be produced by John Baldecchi, who has produced movies such as Ultra Violet, Stacy Maes and Jumper. The cast has not been announced.

The movie telles the story of Lord Henry Baltimore who was bitten by a demonic vampire. Baltimore forms a team to fight the forces of evil.
