The actor’s assistant was forced to seek help for the star after realising that the America’s Got Talent judge had been drunk for several days in his London hotel.
Doctor Paul Attlinger, who was called to help, was punched by Hasselhoff, who became emotional and aggressive while under the influence of alcohol.
The star was then transported to the Capio Nightingale Hospital, a private psychiatric facility, where he stayed for two days. He left the hospital yesterday (October 8).
Hasselhoff was hospitalised twice this year due to alcohol poisoning.
