David Lynch opens Paris nightclub

American filmmaker’s Club Silencio will open October 6.

Famed Hollywood director David Lynch – the mind behind hits like Twin Peaks and Mulholland Drive – will open a signature nightclub called Club Silencio in Paris this October, reports Routard.

"Club Silencio was conceived and designed by David Lynch, from the interior to the furniture," explains the official website.

The club will feature "concerts by artist-in-residence and prestigious guests, up-and-coming bands and eclectic DJs," as well as "a new cinema experience with a program of premieres, movies of the week and retrospectives."

Members also receive exclusive access to concerts, films and other performances, and are permitted to bring one guest with the regular pass, or two guests with the premium pass.

From 6 p.m. until midnight, the club will be exclusive to La Carte members, then opening to the public from midnight until 6 a.m. The salon will also feature original cocktails, finger foods, and food tasting.

The Silencio application form requires detailed information about profession, and membership costs around $1,000 a year for a regular pass or $2,000 for a premium pass. People under 30 who live outside France are eligible for a reduced rate of $580 a year.
