Demi Lovato returns to the stage
Disney star Demi Lovato, who turned 19 last Saturday (August 20), is ready to return to the stage with three performances scheduled in September, reports Starpulse.
The teenager had recently completed a 3-month stay at a rehabilitation facility following an emotional breakdown and the end of her relationship with Joe Jonas, youngest member of the Jonas Brothers. Her illness cut short her South American tour with the boy band.
The newly-recovered Lovato announced she will be performing two shows at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York, on September 17 and 18, and one show at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles on September 23.
Fans who have eagerly been awaiting her return, will have the opportunity to hear her perform her latest single Skyscraper from her new album Unbroken.
"This will be the first time I’ve been on stage for about a year, which is just, like, unfathomable to me because I’ve been performing non-stop since I was, like, 15,” Lovato said. “I’m getting back onstage for the first time after everything has happened. It’ll be interesting to see how nervous I am up there."
These three concerts will promote her comeback album, Unbroken, set for release on September 20.
