"Denise is moving forward with divorce proceedings," a rep for Richards told People magazine.
Today lawyers for both sides met to discuss handling the divorce through a private mediator, rather than air their differences in public court.
"I don’t think this relationship (between Richards and Sheen) is going to work," a source said.
The two stars were separated last spring when Richards was seven months pregnant with their second daughter. After the birth of their second child, Lola, on June 1, the couple were back together.
