Director Ron Shelton, who brought us the golf comedy Tin Cup with Kevin Costner, is going back to the greens with Q School. Shelton co-wrote the screenplay with his Tin Cup partner, John Norville.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, actors Dennis Quaid and Tim Allen are interested in joining the cast. The project begins shooting in the spring.
Q School is a comedy that follows a group of PGA hopefuls, talking about their passion for golf and personal strife.
Quaid is currently starring in G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, and we will also see him in the film Pandorum on September 18.
Tim Allen just finished filming The Six Wives of Henry Lefay, although a release date has not been given.
