Deryck Whibley Threatened with Deportation

Deryck Whibley may be deported from the United States because of a song that he wrote that attacks the President.

After writing an unflattering song about American President George W. Bush, Whibley, who is the leader of the band Sum 41, has been threatened with deportation by a journalist who didn’t like his song.

The Canadian rocker’s song, March of the Dogs, offended several journalists, and one is asking politicians to exercise their right to expell Whibley from the country.  Whibley explained, "He (the reporter) went to the House minority leader in the States (a Republican), who tried to have me deported, trying to say I’m threatening the president."
