Details on Lady Gaga Tour

Lady Gaga’s show will be staged as an opera.

The singer will be kicking off her Monster Ball tour next month, and has finally revealed details about the show in an interview with RollingStone.

Lady Gaga will be picking up where she left off, after Kanye West was dropped from the previously planned Fame Kills tour.

She revealed, "The theatrics and story elements are in the style of an opera. Imagine if you could take the sets of an opera, which are very grand and very beautiful, and put them through a pop-electro lens. The design of the show is very, very forward, very, very innovative."

The star also wanted to ensure that all spectators would be able to see the stage. She described her integrated stage, revealing, "It’s got kind of a triangular inset, like a diamond, and everywhere we’re playing, the dimensions fit this box that I’m bringing, so it’s this giant box that fits into every show."

Lady Gaga’s tour gets underway on November 27 at Montreal’s Bell Centre, which is four days after the release of her new album, The Fame Monster.  She will perform in Toronto on November 28, and Ottawa the following day.  Two shows are scheduled for Vancouver on December 9 and 10.
