The Montreal group at the centre of several breakup rumours, has reassured their fans with news of their forthcoming disc on their fan-club Website.
This album will be their third, and comes a little more than 2 years after At Mount Zoomer dropped. The band calls Montreal home, where the indie music scene is vibrant.
According to the site, drummer and producer Arlen Thompson commented on the group’s current situation. "The record is going well. We’re just starting songwriting. We’ll be in the studio tracking at [Montreal’s] Hotel2Tango at the end of February and are trying to have the record finished by early spring," he revealed.
Rumours of the band splitting have been popping up recently, because the musicians have had their hands in various side projects, leaving doubts that they’ve had much time to focus on Wolf Parade material.
