Us magazine reported yesterday (January 13) that the Dexter star has been suffering from cancer.

Apparently, the actor’s cancer was discovered at a stage where a cure is possible, and is now receiving treatments for Hodgkin’s lymphoma at  a Los Angeles hospital.

According to Hall’s rep, Craig Bankey, the disease is in complete remission and Hall is following treatment as planned. Hall also thanked the doctors and nurses who have helped him.

The illness won’t be stopping the actor from attending the Golden Globes on Sunday (January 17). He plans to show up with his Dexter co-star wife, Jennifer Carpenter. Hall is nominated for his role as Dexter Morgan in the popular series. He will begin filming the fifth season later this year.

Michael C. Hall was also one of the stars of the Six Feet Under series. Also in film, we recently saw him star alongside Gerard Butler in Gamer. He will next be featured in the comedy Peep World, which hasn’t been tagged with a release date, and in April, he will be shooting the dramatic comedy East Fifth Bliss.
