Supermodel Naomi Campbell is celebrating 25 years in fashion. Luxury house Dolce & Gabbana decided to mark the occasion with an exclusive t-shirt collection.
There are 14 limited edition collector t-shirts all bearing an iconic image of the model. The black and white images were taken by renowned international fashion photographers, including Mario Testino, Patrick Demarchelier, Bruce Weber and Steven Meisel.
The t-shirts were introduced Friday (September 10) at the DG boutique on Madison Avenue in NYC during the Fashion’s Night Out event during New York Fashion Week. Naomi Campbell and 13 other models were on hand, each wearing one of the t-shirts. Those t-shirts were sold for $200 and Campbell stayed on to sign them at the end of the event.
MyFashionLife.com reports the t-shirts "are being sold only on September 10th in New York, on September 21st in London, on September 26th in Milan, on October 4th in Paris, and October 20th in Moscow. They will also be sold post Moscow in Beijing, Hong Kong and Shanghai."
Part of the proceeds from sales of these shirts will go to Campbell’s charity Fashion for Relief Foundation that helps Hurricane Katrina victims.
