Diane Von Furstenberg teams with Roxy

Diane Von Furstenberg has teamed up with surf brand Roxy for a new range of swim and beachwear.

Diane von Furstenberg is teaming up with Roxy for a new range of swimwear.

Entitled DVF loves ROXY, the collection will combine the bold prints associated with the high-fashion brand and the silhouettes offered by the surf and snow company.

It will feature 35 pieces – including swimwear, board shorts and beach bags – and will range from $38 to $88.

Commenting on the collection, Diane said she was excited to be involved with the "playful and fun" range.

She said: "I am so excited to work with Roxy. The collection is playful and fun … we wanted to empower women to go for it and ride the wave."

The range will be sold at both Diane von Furstenberg and Roxy stores.

It is the second unusual collaboration for Diane in recent months – she also made a limited edition bottle for Evian water.

The creation will be released in November at Evian retailers, and follows in the footsteps of Issey Miyake, Sir Paul Smith and Christian Lacroix, who have all worked for the French water brand.
