Discover the ghosts of Michigan’s Mackinac Island

Resort featured on TV’s Ghost Hunters offers special weekend package.

With the spooky season fast approaching, Mission Point Resort on Michigan’s Mackinac Island is offering a special Ghost Hunter package that includes food and accommodation for two, and tickets for the island ghost tour.

The package offers two nights at the resort, breakfast each morning, one dinner, fare for the ferry, and two tickets to the Haunts of Mackinac ghost tour – all for $159 per person.

The resort was featured in an episode of Ghost Hunters earlier this year, when the Syfy-channel team visited Mackinac Island and experienced some strange phenomena during their stay.

For an additional $30, visitors can add a second tour that uses high-tech equipment for the full ghost-hunting experience: including a visit to the resort theater and soundstage, reportedly home to a ghost named Harvey.

The 18-acre Mission Point Resort is the largest on the island, boasting 243 guest rooms, as well as meeting space, putting course, observation and heated outdoor pool.
