Actor Djimon Hounsou (Eragon, Constantine) has partnered with Dynamite Entertainment to star in and produce a film about the immortal sorcerer Thulsa Doom, a central figure from the comic books Conan the Barbarian and Kull, reports Variety.
The film will explain the origins of the character and how his road to hell was paved with good intentions.
In the 1982 film Conan the Barbarian, the sorcerer was played by James Earl Jones.
We can next see Djimon Hounsou in the science-fiction film Push, opening in theatres on February 6. He will be starring with Dakota Fanning and Chris Evans.
