Drake cancels show an hour after start time

Drake cancelled a concert in Philadelphia an hour after it was due to begin because of ”an unexpected technical issue” stemming from the ”elaborate nature” of his stage show.

Drake cancelled a concert an hour after it was due to start.

The rapper was in Philadelphia on Saturday night (19.10.13) as part of his ‘Would You Like A Tour’ run, and fans were already in the Wells Fargo Center before they were told the gig would be postponed because of a ”technical issue”.

According to Philly.com, a statement from the venue explained: ”Due to the elaborate nature of tonight’s show and an unexpected technical issue, Drake’s ‘Would You Like A Tour’ concert at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia has been postponed until Wednesday, December 18.”

The ‘Hold On, We’re Going Home’ hitmaker recently lashed out at fans who assume he is ”lonely and emotional” because of his deep lyrics.

He previously said: ”I’m so sick of people saying that I’m like lonely and emotional, and associating me with this, like, longing for a woman. I hate that. It bothers me so much.

”I do make music that makes you feel something, but I’m actually not that guy in real life, I’m happy. I’m very excited, my life is constantly exciting it’s not some sad depressing story.”
