For all those who have been patiently waiting until October 24, the launch date of Drake’s sophomore album Take Care, the Canadian rapper has unveiled a few tracks which may be from the new album.
Over the weekend, Drake released three songs available for free download from his blog October’s Very Own, hosted on Mediafire.com – a site very popular with some artists. However, currently the links appear to have been removed.
Drake began on Saturday (September 10) at 6:29 pm by posting Club Paradise, saying, “Dropping this for our boy Avery…this was his favorite s— during the recording process. 2 more songs coming tonight as well.”
Free Spirit featuring Rozay (aka Rick Ross) was uploaded at 1:00 am Sunday morning (September 11), with a quote attributed to Princess Diana, “I like to be a free spirit. Some don’t like that, but that’s the way I am.”
Less than an hour later, at 1:54 am, Drake posted remix of American rapper Waka Flocka Flame’s song Round of Applause that features Drake.
While the rapper has been generous in publishing these three songs, he hasn’t confirmed if any of them will eventually end up on Take Care due out in six weeks.
