Drake’s first single

Drake launched the first single from his upcoming album Thank Me Later. He’s the Canadian rapper who made such a splash during the opening performance at the Grammy Awards.

The album will be released in May. It has been getting some buzz ever since Drake performed Best I Ever Had with Lil Wayne and Eminem at the Grammys.

Drake introduced Over yesterday (March 4) on Toronto’s Flow 93.5 FM. It is a song off his new album and the first single to be released.

The singer is also taking advantage of the viral nature of the Internet. Fans can go to his blog at octobersveryown.blogspot.com and download Over.

This week, Drake shot a video with Lil Wayne. It’s that rapper’s final days of freedom; he has to serve a one-year prison sentence for possessing an illegal weapon. He collaborated with Drake on Thank Me Later, along with Kanye West and Jay-Z.
