Drew Barrymore cited for jaywalking

Drew Barrymore was cited for jaywalking yesterday (11.27.14).

The ‘Charlie’s Angels’ actress was stopped by police as she left a yoga class in Beverly Hills and issued a ticket for her reckless crossing of the street.

The 39-year-old star – who has daughters Olive, two, and Frankie, seven months, with husband Will Kopelman – appeared to nervously play with her hair as she was addressed by a police officer on the pavement.

Despite the incident, the ‘Blended’ actress didn’t let it ruin her Thanksgiving and later used social media to express her gratitude for her close group of pals and her family.

She posted on Facebook: ”I’m thankful for my girlfriends. Who were my first family. And now I am lucky enough to have another! And my girlfriends are there for my daughters. And it makes me overwhelmed with joy. Happy Thanksgiving to all the friends and families out there. Drew.”

She also used her Instagram account to share an adorable photograph of her youngest daughter with her blonde hair spiked up.

She captioned the image: ”Happy Thanksgiving. #mylittleturkey.(sic)”

Drew recently admitted she is a very disorganized person and is trying to change for the sake of her kids.

She said: ”[I’m a] very traditional [mother]. I’m not organised in my life, like, I lose everything and I’m a complete disaster. With my kids, I really don’t accept that for myself because I think kids learn from example of the way you live your life.”
