According to TMZ.com, the Charlie’s Angels star was in a car accident yesterday (May 12), when she was driving in West Hollywood. Her car was hit by another car, and the driver fled the scene of the accident.
The 33-year-old actress was furious and chased the vehicle, but wasn’t able to catch the driver.
Fortunately, Drew Barrymore gave the police the car’s license plate number, so that they could quickly find the perpetrator.
Barrymore was enjoying a short break from filming the comedy Everybody’s Fine in Connecticut. The film also stars Robert De Niro, Kate Beckinsale and Sam Rockwell.
