Actress Drew Barrymore has signed a contract to play the lead female role in the romantic comedy, Going the Distance, reports Variety.
Barrymore will be starring opposite ex-boyfriend Justin Long.
Directed by Nanette Burstein (American Teen), the script follows a young couple who are in a long-distance relationship. But they will find that the distance may cost them everything, including their relationship.
Barrymore and Long also appeared in the recent film He’s Just Not That Into You.
