Britain’s Duchess Catherine attended a 100 Women in Hedge Funds (WHF) charity gala last night (24.10.13).

The 31-year-old beauty was the guest of honor at the event which was supporting Action on Addiction in association with the 100 WHF – both of which Catherine is a patron – at the Kensington Palace State Apartments.

Action on Addiction uses research, treatment, professional education and family support to combat addiction, and has centers across the United Kingdom.

This was one of few royal duties Catherine has carried out since giving birth to her first child in July and she had left Prince George ”fast asleep” before making her way to the gala.

As she arrived the Duchess of Cambridge gushed about her three-month-old son who was baptized on Wednesday (23.10.13) in an intimate ceremony at St James Palace and was delighted he had been so well behaved.

She told Sky news : ”He was such a good boy actually. We were very lucky, he’s not always like that.”

Catherine – known as Kate Middleton before she married Prince William – has previously shown her support to combat the problem of addiction when she visited The Willows Primary School in Manchester to meet the children of addicts.
