Duchess Catherine feels baby move

Britain’s Duchess Catherine has been feeling her unborn baby move ”very much”, she told well-wishers in Grimsby today (05.03.13).

Britain’s Duchess Catherine has been feeling her unborn baby move.

The duchess is around 21 weeks pregnant with her first child and admitted she can feel it moving around inside her ”very much”.

During an official visit to Grimsby, North England, today (03.05.13), well-wisher Bobbi Brown revealed: ”I asked her if the baby has been moving or kicking.

”She said ‘Yes it is, very much so’.”

Catherine’s arrival into the Lincolnshire town had been delayed due to fog.

Her helicopter touched down at around 1pm, just under 90 minutes later than scheduled.

Her spokesperson said ahead of her arrival: ”The Duchess of Cambridge’s arrival in Grimsby has been slightly delayed due to fog in the area, preventing the aircraft from flying.

”The duchess is traveling from London.

”We expect the program to be between 1 – 1.5 hours delayed.

”The venues will remain the same once the Duchess arrives.”

The decision to use a helicopter, rather than the cheaper train, has attracted some criticism, but royal officials insisted it was the most suitable mode of transport.

A St. James’s Palace spokesperson said: ”There a number of factors taken into consideration when it comes to royal engagements.

”It depends on what the member of the royal family is doing before or after and how long the journey takes.

”It was decided that the most suitable way to travel to Grimsby was to come by helicopter.”

During the visit, Catherine – the wife of Prince William – was scheduled to tour the National Fishing Heritage Centre and Peaks Lane Fire Station and officially open Havelock Academy secondary school.
