Britain’s Duchess Catherine wants to be as active as possible during her pregnancy.

The 31-year-old royal – who is expecting her first child with husband Prince William – was hospitalized with acute morning sickness when she was around eight weeks gone, but now she’s fully recovered, she doesn’t people to fuss over her.

A source close to Catherine – who was known as Kate Middleton before her 2011 wedding – said: ”She had a difficult start with the sickness, but she’s now feeling great and is embracing her changing shape. She’s around 20 weeks pregnant and she can’t wait to feel the baby kick.”

”Kate can’t bear to be fussed over and doesn’t want to be wrapped in cotton wool just because she’s pregnant. She’s determined to keep active and busy over the next five months. She knows that excessive exercise is a big no-no, so she’s been enjoying lots of walks with and without her dog Lupo, as well as Pilates and yoga sessions.”

Catherine – who is famed for her slim figure – has always been craving carbs throughout her pregnancy.

The source added to Closer magazine: ”Kate is trying to stick to a healthy diet, but she’s been allowing herself a few of the things she fancies. She’s really craving chunky chips with ketchup, beans on toast and spaghetti Bolognese. She also loves brandy snaps as the sugar rush was a really good anti-nausea remedy during her intense bouts of morning sickness.”
