Duchess Catherine has been buying affordable maternity clothes.
The 31-year-old royal – who is expecting her first child with husband Prince William – was spotted browsing the maternity racks at high street store Topshop during a shopping spree in London.
A fellow shopper tweeted: ”Oh Just an average day, Kate Middleton smiled at me! 🙂 oh best bit… This was in Topshop! Truly Beautiful 🙂 (sic)”
In January, Catherine – who was known as Kate Middleton before her marriage – was spotted in another high street store, Gap, on the hunt for some maternity jeans.
However, while she is happy to shop on the high street, Sarah Burton recently revealed wants to design maternity wear for the duchess.
When asked if she would be making any maternity clothes for Catherine, the acclaimed designer – who created the wedding dress for the duchess’ nuptials to William in April 2011 – said: ”I hope I will be.”
However, it is good Catherine has a back-up wardrobe as Sarah is due to give birth to twins any day now so might not find the time.
