Duchess of Cambridge puts morning sickness behind her

A happy Duchess of Cambridge appeared to put her morning sickness behind her on a trip to Wales.

The 32-year-old Duchess – who is around 15 weeks pregnant with her second child – looked happy and healthy as she attended an event held at the Valero Pembroke Refinery in Wales on Saturday (08.11.14), after being forced to cancel many scheduled royal appearances due to her severe morning sickness, also known as hyperemesis gravidarum.

A smiling Catherine was accompanied by her husband Prince William, 32, although their 15-month-old son Prince George, Duke of Cambridge remained home.

The mother-of-two covered up her small bump in a baby blue Matthew Williamson coat dress while Prince William looked smart in a navy blue suit with a bright red tie as they celebrated the 50th anniversary of the oil refinery.

Their Royal Highnesses were welcomed by the workers of the oil refinery – which employs 1,200 people – and were even presented a toy truck for their young son.

The Valero Pembroke Refinery was originally opened by Britain’s Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother in 1964.
