Britain’s Duchess of York arrived in Serbia to open a new primary school.

Sarah Ferguson joined professional tennis player Novak Djokovic at Belgrade’s Nikola Tesla Airport last night (09.16.13) before going on to officially open the doors of a refurbished school in Kadina Luka, near Ljiga at 7am today (09.17.13).

The education centre is the first in the country to have been renovated by the charity, Novak Djokovic Foundation, as part of its project Skolica Zivota, which means Little School of Life, and as children’s learning is close to the 53-year-old royal’s heart, she was keen to see the work first hand.

Meanwhile, the flame-haired beauty and her ex-husband Prince Andrew have been surrounded with speculation recently after rumors emerged that they were about to rekindle their romance and possibly remarry.

However, Sarah – who has previously brought scandal to the royal family after being caught sucking the toes of her financial advisor while separated but still married to Andrew in 1992 and for offering a journalist access to him for £500,000 in 2010 – and Andrew have claimed they are just ”best friend” and try to keep a solid relationship for the sake of their daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie.

A source said previously: ”They continue to be joint parents and best friends and try to set the best example for the girls.”
