According to the British publication News of the World, Murphy broke off his relationship with Melanie Brown because he caught her with another man. The star of the film Doctor Doolittle even hired a private investigator to follow the former Spice Girl.
Last month, the actor’s suspicions were confirmed when he was shown photographs of Mel B. with another man. Murphy also is not sure that he is the father of the 31 year-old’s baby.
A friend said, "Eddie had his suspicions that Mel was becoming close to a guy he knows. He was furious when he saw the pictures."
Mel B., who is five months pregnant, denies the accusations, saying, "It just goes to show how desperate Eddie has got. He is the father of my baby and he knows it."
For over a month, Eddie Murphy, 45, has been seeing producer Tracey Edmonds.
