Nicole filed papers Friday, citing irreconciliable differences.
The two were married on March 18, 1993. Eddie and Nicole have five children, Bella, Zahra, Bria, Shayne Audra, Zola Ivy and Miles Mitchell. Eddie is also the father of another son, Christian, from a former relationship.
Eddie spoke about the situation, "The welfare of our children is our main concern and their best interests are our first priority."
