The actor plays the role of twins in his upcoming film, Leaves of Grass. One of the characters is a marijuana grower, so Norton thought that smoking up might help him best portray his role. However, he figured that doing so would ultimately ruin his concentration, reports FemaleFirst.
Norton said, "I wondered, ‘Would being stoned look way better on the film than acting stoned?’ The truth of the matter is, making movies is so … especially doing something like twins … you’ve got to be able to focus. I don’t think I could function the way I need to function."
