Eli Roth to Direct Stephen King’s Cell

In this book, King returns to his love of horror stories, with cell phone signals sending their users into a world of zombies.

Dimension Films is also working on another King project, entitled 1408, which will be directed by Mikael Hafstrom.

"The combination of technology and horror is fun high-concept," Dimension’s Bob Weinstein said. "And Eli will make it right after he finishes ‘Hostel 2.’ "

Roth also hopes to play a part in writing the screenplay, although at the moment he is busy shooting Hostel 2 in Prague.
