According to People, Elin Nordegren wants to save her marriage to golf star Tiger Woods because she does not want to raise her kids without a father.
A source reveals, "Elin wants a solid family life. She was a child of divorce and felt her dad slighted her. She absolutely does not want that to happen to Sam and Charlie. So she wants to keep her family together even if she and Tiger live together as friends instead of lovers."
Nordegren, 30, has reportedly visited her husband at the Gentle Path clinic in Mississippi where he is getting treatment for sex addiction.
A former clinic patient explains that the spouse is invited to visit for a week, "This is the rough part where the patient has to admit to his wife that he [cheated]," the source adds.
It appears that Woods will do anything to save his family. Another source says, "Keeping the family together is very important to Tiger so he is doing whatever it takes to keep Elin from leaving him and taking the kids."
Since the Woods’ cheating scandal surfaced, more than a dozen women have admitted to having a sexual relationship with the golfer.
