British model-actress Elizabeth Hurley, 45, separated from Indian textile heir Arun Nayar months ago, reports People.
There were hints from British press that Hurley had been seeing cricketer Shane Warne. The tabloid British News of the World reportedly has pictures and videos of the couple kissing, and alleges that they spent the night together at a London hotel.
Yesterday (December 12), Hurley tweeted: "Not a great day. For the record, my husband Arun and I separated a few months ago. Our close family & friends were aware of this."
Hurley’s statement coincides with reports from numerous tabloids including pictures by paparazzi that confirm Warne and Hurley are romantically involved. They were photographed going into a hotel on at least two occasions.
On 4 April 2002, Hurley gave birth to a son, Damian Charles Hurley. The baby’s father, Steve Bing, denied paternity, however a DNA test established Bing as the child’s father.
In late 2002, Hurley began dating Indian textile heir Arun Nayar, who has run a small software company since 1998. They married in March 2007 at Sudeley Castle in Gloucestershire, where they exchanged vows in an Anglican ceremony before 300 guests. Days after the British ceremony they threw a sumptuous week-long celebration at Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur, India, capped by a Hindu wedding ceremony.
Hurley previously dated actor Hugh Grant for 13 years before the pair called it quits in 2000.
