According to People, the publicists for DeGeneres and de Rossi stated on Saturday (August 18), "Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi were married tonight in an intimate ceremony at their home in Los Angeles."
There were 19 guests invited to the ceremony to witness the two woman exchange their handwritten vows. Two of the guests were the two stars’ mothers.
The couple has been dating since December 2004, and DeGeneres announced on her show in May that they were going to get married.
