Starpulse reports that the talk show hostess made someone’s day yesterday (November 25) on her TV show.
Rozina Pijuan, a young single mother, wrote a letter to DeGeneres, explaining how she was having a hard time taking care of her two sons after losing her job as a result of the economic crisis.
Ellen then invited the 26-year-old Bronx, New York woman to the Ellen DeGeneres Show and gave her $10 000. She also surprised her with a GMC Terrain SUV, so that she can drive her children to school safely. The mother was over the moon.
Ellen’s talk show has been on the air since September 2003, and has won 15 Emmy Awards. The audience often gets chances to win gifts and prizes, such as cars and vacations.
