Elton John promises memorable moments

BBC Radio 2 will soon launch a new season of Electric Proms. This is an annual live music festival and marks the first time it is produced by the BBC. To start things off on the right note, the BBC called on one of the greatest living legends in British music, Sir Elton John.

Elton John was quick to accept the invitation. He told festival organizers he plans to hold a unique show with some very special guest performances. John promises a concert people will not soon forget.

John revealed: "I’m delighted to be kicking off this year’s Radio 2 Electric Proms, particularly as I’ll be joined on stage by Leon who is one of my musical heroes. The performance will feature some very special guests and memorable moments."

The concert takes place at the Roundhouse in London on October 28 and will feature John, along with Leon Russell, Rumer and Plan B.

Robert Plant will also perform during the upcoming season. He will perform material from his new album, Band of Joy.
