Elvis Costello featured on The Strokes song

Next single Taken for a Fool will feature B-side duet with British musician.

While the Strokes latest album, Angles, didn’t receive the same critical acclaim as its predecessors, the band has been performing a series of live shows.

On April 1, British singer-songwriter Elvis Costello opened for the group a couple of times, which led to an invitation to perform with the band for the song Taken for a Fool.

As of July 26, the single will be available as a download and on seven-inch vinyl, with as live cut of the Costello duet on the B-side, reports Clash Music.

Thousands of fans attending a concert earlier this year at Madison Square Garden in New York enjoyed a live performance of the duet.
